DIRECTIONS TO FORT MCNAIR

FROM NORTHERN VIRGINIA
Take I-395 North, past the Pentagon, over the 14th Street Bridge. On the bridge, make sure you're in the left lane - Route 1 will veer off to the left, I-395 to the right. Take Route 1 to the left. Take the first exit to Maine Ave., (Waterfront). Go to 4th light (4th Street) and turn right. 4th Street dead-ends into P Street. Fort McNair main gate will be on the right after the curve. Gate guard will direct you to the Officers' Club.

FROM MARYLAND
Take I-295 South to Howard Street. At light, turn right. Road will merge onto South Capital Street. Go over the Frederick Douglas Bridge - Staying in the right lane. After you're over the bridge, the center and left lanes will go under the overpass. Make sure you are in the right lane. Go to the light and turn left onto M. Street. Go to the 4th light and turn left on 4th Street. 4th Street dead-ends into P Street. Fort McNair main gate will be on the right after the curve. Gate guard will direct you to the Officers' Club.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Fort McNair is an Army installation and will require positive identification to enter the facility unless you have a military decal on your vehicle. Depending on the current security procedures be prepared to provide identification and be given a visitor pass for your time at the Officers' Club.
